Children have a hard time; the fact that they are learning things means that there is a lot they don't know. They become embarrassed easily, they make mistakes, they imagine what their peers think of them and worry about that. They form coping mechanisms which will not be understood by adults and which soon become more hindrance than help. Often they assume guilt for something that was not their fault.
Treating children can be a problem because they either are too shy to say what is wrong or they do not know what is wrong. This is why, some years ago, I developed an award-winning technique for working with children (see top of left side column) which has been successful every time because it overcomes both of these obstacles.
The joy and gratitude from children and their parents is wonderful. Other positive changes often brought about are sometimes amazing. If your child has a problem in their mind which is impacting their life...
